Finally got around to getting on a deed and went out there Wednesday and picked out the camp. Spent the morning riding some wet and wild stuff back in the corner by the bombing range. Came in and were able to pick out a camp in the new section east of Main Grade road about 4 miles back. Real quiet back there. Then spent the rest of the day on the opposite side near the "big Tree" and the rope swing. We did not see one other ATV except Hutch. The grader was working the Main Grade rd, the Cat D-3 Dozer was cutting new roads and it was a awesome day. Put the KFX 700 (2 wheel drive) through the wash in the a.m. Had to get towed a couple of times but she ran good back there. I will not be taking the V-force back there anymore. I will take the wifes rancher though. Looking forward to hooking up with some other owners from this site out there. Peanut told me some dirt bikes snuck out there the other day and had to run them down and send them home. The ID card set up has not arrived and that was supposed to start March 1. Life is all good. Lets roll.

I've never been out to River Ranch before. Lnow lots of people who go. My husband and I are thinking of buying campsite there. What is it like? Is there lots of places to mud or mainly just trails?

Mainly hunting. There are some mud puddles on the way back to hunting areas. You have to be careful though, the Polk Sheriff's are patroling it now to make sure you stay out of the wetland areas. Just remember if you go out there that it is not an ATV park.
