Black sapphire poly...it was a Corvette color (1988?). Basecoat/clearcoat, PPG color code (DBC) 3885-SC. Ultra dark blue/black with metallic and pearl.

The only thing about a shiny black is that it has to be perfectly clean to be shiny again.  On our Recon, I usually just clean it preety good, than get a rag with some WD40 and wipe the racks and frame, makes it shiny.  I think something with a wrinkly texture will look good, unique, and look better when dirty.
