OK, admittedly I am a rookie..I haven't ridden an ATV since grade school. My throttle thumb gets so dang tired while riding! Any tips?
Also, anyone know of any good places to ride close to Deland?
We have been riding out at St.Francis Trail, but it's getting old...

if your thumb gets tired you should try pushing the quad for a while ! that usually helps me forget about the thumb thing

Your thumb will get used to it, using muscles that have never been used before. Mine used to hurt in a short time, just takes a while. My biggest advice is to stay on the quad, don't flip and hit the ground, it hurts. Look out for others coming the other way, they might not be looking for you.

Here is the best tip you'll ever get. If at first you dont make it through, or up, or over. Back up a little farther and hit that mother harder. This applys to any type of vehicle, not just atvs. This can be an expensive way to live but it makes for great memories.
