Arrangements for the February 28th OHV Advisory Committee meeting have been finalized.  The meeting will be held in Tallahassee at DEP's Douglas Building - conference room A on the first floor.  The attachments contain directions, hotel recommendations, and agenda.  Should you have additions for agenda items please let me know.

In addition, the Advisory Committee  has requested a tour of the Tate's Hell OHV trail system on Monday the 27th for those that are interested.  We will meet at the Tate's Hell OHV staging area at 10:00 am (directions attached).  Thanks to DEP, DOF, and possibly USFS we will have some ATVs available, but if you can bring a machine it would be appreciated to help meet the demand.  If you plan on attending this field day please let me know so we can have a reasonable head count.  The Friends of Florida State Forests will be providing snacks.  Additional information on Tate's Hell can be found at the following link: http://www.fl-dof.com/state_forests/thsf_ohv_index.html

Thanks,

DIRECTIONS TO DOUGLAS BUILDING
3900 Commonwealth Boulevard
Tallahassee, FL

From Interstate 10:

The Douglas Building is located at 3900 Commonwealth Boulevard, just south of Interstate 10, exit number 196 (previously exit 28), and just east of Capital Circle Northwest.

From exit 196, head south one block on Capital Circle, merging left and turning left on Commonwealth (long turn lane on left leads up to first traffic light which is Commonwealth).

When you turn left on Commonwealth, the Douglas Building is the 10-story copper colored bldg. on the left.

Take the second Palmetto Commons entrance on the left and park in a visitor’s space across from the flagpole (all legal parking is open to all visitors).

Use the front door entrance adjacent to the flagpole and sign in at the desk.  We are on the 8th Floor of the Douglas Building.  As you leave the elevator on the eighth floor, a left and a right hand turn will lead you towards the reception area; four right turns as you leave the elevator will take you to the OGT conference room.
