I have a 400 Kawasaki Prairie 4x4 for trail riding and hunting. I would like to up the performance but do not want a LOUD bike especially when hunting.
Any suggestions?

No, The "tech" section would be your best bet !!!
But to help your ?, Almost any after market pipe has the removeable insides, usually with a spark arrrester ( baffle) so it should still be somewhat quiet. You could add a single wrap to the inside of the exhaust.
But remember, if you do change your exhaust, you also have to re-jet to accomodate the air flow IN & OUT both sides of motor !
