thanks for the suggestions im gonna take yall up on that one .  i was wondering how hard it is  if your determined to do it ,  build a 400ex from the frame up?  that kinda what id like to do .  or find an old one (decent) but fairly not new duh! and fix it up to ride         im getting a job  because im bound and determined to get one i start in 2 weeks from 2 day . if  yall have a 400ex , frame , motor , what ever to get me started .  drop me a line or pm to let me know what you have , so we can talk about maybe selling it to me .    thanks guys

It's not that hard if your somewhat mechanically inclined. Just make sure to get a Climer manaul it will help you through the tough spots. I had mine together in 3 days from a bare frame the 1st time. Let me know if you need any help I am right here in town and know the bike pretty well. There were a couple pretty good deals on 400ex's in the Coastal Trader last week.  Wink

I would definatly start with an older working model and build from the ground up, Big Pimpin did that and he has a fine quad

Parts for these things have become a dime a dozen and upgrades are getting cheaper all the time.
