I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Tom. I have been lurking around here for a couple of weeks gathering info about one of things I loved to do a long time ago, Riding quads.

A friend of mine stored a couple of new dirt bikes in my garage for his son and himself for christmas presents. That got me looking at my old quad that has been in my garage forever, my 88 250r. Well, I cleaned the carb, tank and adjusted a few things and it runs like nothing can stop her, can't believe the power of the old 2 stroke.

Now, I have the riding fever again and my 7 yr old son wants one too. I am looking for places to ride, I went out to the holeylands this evening to look around and their was a lot of people out there riding, mostly 4x4 bikes though. But it looked dry enough for sport quads also. I can't wait to get some time on the old bike again, its going to be fun.

Thanks for listening

ps. This forum is great. Wink

Welcome to the site. Unfortunately there aren't many places to ride down this way.

Welcome. Very nice choice in quads. One of the best ever made. Don't know of any riding places that far south though.  -Mark
