440ex is pretty fast but not as fast as most. and we tink my bro has lt500r but not sure its fast ass mofo thou and i race mxx sometims

Just a couple suggestions,

1.  Start with a 450 (there is a tiny debate as to which flavor)

2.  Expect to spend a lot of money.

3.  Start with suspension if you are wanting to race MX.

4.  Just do it and have fun.

sand drags? Ashpalt Drags? there are a couple options. you can hook up with the crew that ride at hazel hurst and or valdosta
