if you have that AOL instant messenger and happen to get an instant message from a friend saying something like
"lol arent i cool" with a link under it, DO NOT click on it, its a virus, i learned the hard way, thank god for spyware blocker Wink

I just cleaned it out and IM'd everyone on my list "DONT CLICK THE LINK!"

LOL  sry everone that got an IM from me....  Embarrassed  Sad

Whats funny is that o4250 sent it to me and it automatically sent it too everyone on  my list! atvtrailer wrote back and told me how to get rid of it. Then I signed on here and here is this thread LOL

Did i mention i love having Mac OS X Tiger, NO VIRUSES OR SPYWARE, never locks up, much more stable.

thats happened to me a bunch of times.  YOu know if your like totally not talking to someone and then all of a sudden it pops up and says the check out this pic, or dont i look cool.  one time i clicked it but then it said to download it and almost hit it but then my frined that i was talking to told me it was a virus.

Actually, thats not the only or even best reason.  Say I have a Mac and I have a virus sent to me by email, I can guarantee that the chances of another member on my email address book having a Mac is pretty low so the virus would stop at me.

That video is very, very old.  That is a G3 iMac and a G4 PowerMac, and hes talking about OS 9.  Very old technology that was out back in 95ish probably.  We're now using G5 iMacs and PowerMacs running OS X (10.4.2).  It was probably made by some diehard Windoze fan whos job is an editor and he used macs.  Funny i never have anything lock up on my mac Shocked
