I'll never buy pads from Ebay again..  I bought pads for both my quads and installed them at the same time.. both Machines had to have new pads in less then 2 months time. The pads that they came with them when i bought them new lasted for 3 years..  And i am not rough on my machines nor do i ride in mud very often...

when it comes to breaks  & clutches i always go with original factory parts..i have a trx400,i put new pads back in jauary of 2009 on all 3 brakes( i ride 1 or 2 times a week),i recently checked them & they r still in good shape..how much did u pay4 those breaks on ebay??...i came across some break pads on ebay 4 my trx400,it was $17.99 for all 3 breaks, that smelled a bit fishy 2 me, when just the read pads r $38.00 at the dealer.

break pads on any types of quad, dirtbike & 3wheeler dont seem to last long in general, the dirt/mud/sand act as grinding agent & wears'um fast.if ur not going to buy OEM breaks, go with a good after market pads like (EBC or RENTHAL),they can be 10buck above OEM or below, depending what u buy..i always go with the pads know for longest wear life...theres a good site i buy from called  motosport.com they have a good selection of aftermakret pads at a decent price..
