Hi everyone, I am new to the board and am glad to be here. I would like to introduce us. We own a machine shop in Lakeland Florida and were once involved with the Sumter track early. If anyone is in need of machine services, we can help. Our primary business is manufacturing and building engines for kart racing but we have a full machine and weld shop and we are seeking work in that area. We have a good amount of equipment including a CNC machine. If you or someone you know needs any help on machining, manufacturing, boring, decking, honing etc, PM or email me and I will give you a facility list. No job too small! We can help the average guy!

Thanks,
Sheldon

zman, thanks My experiences have been good. Very friendly people.

greenmachine, Your right. We do still build kart engines. The market is down from what it used to be as a result of this lovely economy. We also build mud boat motors, lawn mower racing motors, a lot of vanguards etc. Basically anything small. We have done a lot of machine work on 2 cycle and 4 cycle engines for locals for racing and recreation. We have many fixtures for boring and decking. We have some really good equipment and some really good machinists on staff. If you are in the area, stop by.
Thanks

I have been to your shop before. You definitely have the machines to do anything needed for engines. I would have to say the china motor is destroying kart racing.

greenmachine,

Thanks. We do have a lot of stuff here and we can machine more than just engines. We make a bunch of stuff for duck boats like roller rockers, connecting rods etc. We have two really good machinists and one average one (me)!
I am not sure on the china engine. It sure has brought the cost down...
