Electrical problem dvx 400?

I let my bike sit out in the rain one night due too personal issues where i didnt have the time to throw it in the garage so it was raining on and off over night, nothing heavy and the next morning i went out to go start it up and make sure everything was okay and i put the key in and nothing....The Neutral light doesnt kick on nor the head lights.

So I charged the battery and sanded the termanals slightly to get off any corosion. Still nothing.
The only way to start it is by push/pull method which isnt the best way lol.

Any ideas or suggestions?
