*All beginner classes are for true beginners.
We will not tolerate "sand-baggers".
We will be advancing riders if they don't belong in that class.
Beginner does not always just apply to how long or how short of a time you have been riding, it depends on
your ability too.
For those of you that are new to racing "sand-baggers" are riders that race a class slower
then their ability. (This applies to "C" class also.)
Flag Definitions:
Green Flag: You will see the Green Flag the first time you pass the finish line after the start of the race
Red Flag: You might see a Red Flag the first time you pass the finish line. This means the race will restart at the starting gate
All riders must slow down and proceed back to their original gate pick and wait for the restart.
Yellow Flag: You will see a Yellow Flag when a rider has gone down, flagger stands are positioned around the track most likely after a jump
or a blind spot. If you see a waving yellow flag you can not advance a positions, double or clear any jumps where the yellow flag is
waving. If you see a flagger holding out a yellow flag, you may clear that jump, but to be cautioned there is a rider down but
out of the way.
Blue Flag with Yellow: You will see this flag when you are being lapped by the race leaders. Please try to make it easy for them to get by with out
jeopardizing your position in the race.
Black Flag: You will see this flag only at the finish line, if you see a Black Flag, it means there is a problem, maybe with your bike. You need to
pull off the track immediately, and report to the track referee.
White Flag: You will see the White Flag when you go by the finish line with one more lap to go.
Checkered Flag: This is the Flag that you race to. It means the race is over, and you should pull off the track.
It doesn't matter if you were lapped,
Abbreviated Racing Rules:
1) A rider may not cut any part of the track. If for any reason you exit off the track, you must re-enter the track in the same area. If you exit off the track for any reason before a jump, you must re-enter the track before the jump, you may not by-pass the jump.
2) If for any reason you exit the track, you may not gain any racing positions before re-entering the track.
3) You must roll all jumps between the waving yellow flag and the rider/riders that are down.
4) Jumping the starting gate, or a rolling start, at the start of a moto is not permitted.
Rules 1-4 will result in a rider being penalized one lap.
5) Fighting will not be tolerated. (Both/All riders will be ejected, and a suspension for 30 days will result, it does not matter who started it.)
6) Intentional take outs, or ruff riding will not be tolerated. (this will result in the rider being disqualified for the moto.)
7) Any or all protest must be made to the track referee no more then 30 minutes after the moto has been posted.
(Please do not take your protest to the score personal.)
