I have an 06 680 never had a problem. Is there any mods to the bike? How is the gas and lines, air filter and box clean, oil level is good. Has the bike been sunk in mud and/or water?

Sounds stupid but turn the gas to reserve. I had an older Honda 300 4x4 that did that and come to find out the pet thingy on the fuel tank was bad. We just and it on reserve instead.

If that model has a carb, Keeter's correct. If no carb, it's bad fuel pump.
