It took 3 of the best XC riders in the country to hold off my mighty intermediate team "Team Motoplex" in our inaugural 10 hour Endurance Race.
The 10 hour team race was held in the worst conditions imaginable. At 2.30am on the morning of the race, the skies opened up and it poured down for the next 16 hours.
The weather really affected turnout, but those who braved it, all reported having a great time.
We started the racing around 8.15am and were through (to the relief of many tired racers) by about 6~6.15pm.
We had 3 SXS teams run a 3 hour nightime race, through the same course. This was won by Team Slip and Slide.
Next day was the turn of the peewees. They had a great time over a fresh and much shorter course. Beginner Youth was won by Team Yellow & Team Bab Boyz won the intermediate.
Thanks to the pros from the GNCC who showed up, thanks to all the racers that showed up, thanks to my course marshalls and scoring team.
