My wife was lucky enough to find this Power Wheels ATV curbside on her way home from work. Someone put it in the garbage. I threw a battery into and it worked! I just had to clean it off.

My son Max is two years old and has only ridden a big wheel, tricycle, etc. He was a little sketchy at first, but within 15 minutes was already driving around the yard pretty good. He figured out the reverse gear and even started looking behind him to avoid hitting things. I was surprised how quickly he got it. Of course this was all with a big smile on his face.

Not bad at all for something that was free. My daughter rode it a bit too. She's six so that was no problem. They both had a blast.

It looks good for free! It sounds like he is very coordinated for 2 years old. You can never start them too young.

What a great find!! He looks very happy on it.  Our girls started on the power wheels and they really thought they were something.  Grin

He looked much happier riding it. He has thing about smiling for photos lately. Not really sure why, maybe a little shyness creeping in.

Now look what you started.... LOL  My son had one of them, heck he would ride the little girlies around in our back yard....

Gosh I miss those days...  One reason, is the toys just get more expensive....  From the Power Wheels to the 90 Polaris, now a Honda 400...  Yea, and get this, he thinks he is getting a Polaris 700 next   HAAA!

Great pic, thanks for sharing!!!
