my son(klutch) started college and he needs 4 books. he got 2 today and they were almost $300.00. i tried finding them used on the internet using the isbn numbers and lo and behold i cant even find them new(i guess they are the newest editions). thank god i had got him the prepaid college plan.

its  a conspiracy i tell ya.
its "de man" keeping me down. well i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

i guess im just venting, but i really think its ridiculous paying 300 clams for 2 books.

                              book 2-9780321565617,0321565614

i think gaydirt would've more gentle Grin

Forget the cost of books. Make sure he is diligent about going to EVERY class and studying. If not, the cost of the books add up to very little compared to the rest of the costs. Time and money, and the effort on part of the parents is alot more than the books.

Here's what I found so far. This link shows a price for the second book at $76.07. No luck on the first book...yet. I will keep trying for you.

Oh man, I have about an hour between two classes, and thats exactly what I spend it doing. Today I was in the computer lab studying for my anatomy test tonight. First class and we already have a test. Cry

if i still had any of my college books i'd give them to you for free. they are probably so out dated though. they were mostly business management books and mechanical engineering. i probably sold them to buy a quad Wink
