Checking to see if anyone has had this problem with the carb. slide sticking on 06 450er i took it apart and clean it out but it stills sticks i swarp with a nother bike and sticks  in the other bike  ... i just guess the slide is wore some and it sticks but looks good ....thanks for your help

if there is even a small tiny scratch on the slide it will create like a suction type situation and stick. ive had the same problem with a bike (not a 450R but it was a small dirtbike).

You should have just kept riding the 250R or bought a Yamaha!  Shocked Wink Grin

Did u check your throttle cable itself? Due u have a twist/pull throttle? If so check carb and at your housing.Or maybe it is because it is a honda! Tongue

Thats what it was (honda) LOL
I Repalce the slide assy. Problem fixed ... I guess it was the Honda slide
do you think maybe a yamaha 450 slide would work  Wink
