I use mothers polish but it is a lot of work. Is there anything better or easier to use. They do not get cleaned enough because of the time it takes.

its best to use a poilshing wheel, a drill will work but a die grinder in the ticket. just make sure you dont hit the edge of your wheel with the tool,,, leaves scars... mothers works very well

Aluminium rims
you dont need to polish it every time,
The easiest and fastest way is using Brillo on them when you wash your bike, it will shine just as much as with mothers and you dont have to go buffing out like crazy.

What about the clear coat that is on most aluminum rims today? Won't using anything like brillo scratch the clear coat?

what brand rims do you have? ATP aluminium rims do not have any Clear coating on them.
Also Mothers polish is an abbrasive for polishing BARE metal so if it hasnt scratched your Clear coat by now then brillo never will.

Polished them today with a dremel and mothers. It only took 45 mins. instead of two hours. That works much better.
