My buddy owns a 2006 Suzuki Eiger 400. It has under 20 hours on it. The other day when riding it stalled and wouldnt turn back on. The lights and winch worked fine but the neutral light wouldnt come on and it wouldnt try to start. Upon taking it to a local shop, he found it blew a fuse.

They replace the fuse and as he is test driving it and the same thing happens. Any idea what could be causing it? Is this a common issue with Eigers?

He didn't buy the warranty and doesn't want to take it back to Ridenow, because let's face it, if he did he would leave there whistling from his rear!!!

Any input would be appreciated.

Just noticed your post.  My Dad has an Eiger.  Not that helps you any.  Get a shop manual for it.  The complete electrical schematic is in the book.  It will also help you work on any future problems should they arise.

The book is $60 bucks but that beats $80/hr shop labor rates.

wow this is old, did u fix the bike???

my eiger had the same problem, check the fan connections and temp sensor connection

from mudding the bike mud and sh*t wasnt letting the connection make full contact and was blowing fuses

good luck if the bike isnt already fixed
