Weather.com forcasted heavy rain all day which kept a lot of racers away
and once again they were wrong
It drizzled a few times throughout the race to make for a dust free day.
Open Quad: Lap Times:
1st Place: Scott Westney 31:58
2nd Place: Brian Knighter-DNF/bearing carrier exploded. 31:32 <--- ran independant lap on another bike after the race to see what his time would be and to see the entire course.
Intermediate Quad:
1st Place: Dillon Luke 35:48
2nd Place: Mike Hubbard 36:56
3rd Place: Mike Green 38:12
4th Place: Thaddeus Shepard 43:42
5th Place: John Kelly 53:52

Beginner Quad:

5th Place: Allen Simmons-DNF/due to broken seat latch-1st lap-2.1 miles in.

Dirt Bike-Open Class
Brad Meeker-Super Fast, dropped out after 1st lap because there were no other dirt bike riders. Did not time 1st lap.
Thanks to all the hard core racers
that chose to race the course. I think it was unanamous
that the course was a lot of fun. I will post the remainder of the race schedule for all to see and make plans for the upcoming x-treme cross country races.
