Planning on going out to either Croom or Ocala this weekend...first time in a LONG time. Heard a fellow rider talking about a new noise ordinance. Just wanted to see if this was just a rumor before I head out there with my brother in law who will be in town with his bike..both of our rides have loud exhaust systems. Thanks in advnance, Patrick

if they do start checking i can tell you tons will be dissapointed and might not go back to croom. They way I see it about Croom... its next to the highway and there are only 2 houses in the middle of croom which they live there in the forest where atvs and dirtbikes ride by all day. Its not like they live near the pit. If you are inthe middle of the woods you can barely be heard because trees and such muffle the sound. Why restrict it? I agree some exhaust are unbareably loud. I mean you know its too loud when you have to cover your ears cause it hurts when it goes by. Idk the DB of my 400ex with the HMF but its not loud where you need to restrict it and make it quieter.

I just bought my bike used and only have the bill of sale. No title yet as the bike wasn't paid off. Will the bill of sale from the original owner be fine for me to get a sticker to ride at Croom or do I have to have the title? Patrick

. Just find the vin# on the thing and write it down on a piece of paper along with the yr/make/model # and when you get to Croom front gate just give them that paper and your money and they will give you a sticker. Remember alot of people go in there with enclosed trailers and such and there is no way they can have you unload them to check the vin #s themselves. I have never heard of them asking for bill of sale or anything other than the vin #. Good luck

I went up earlier this year and was turned away because I had no title. Iwas told to go to the DMV and get my title issue straightened out. Cost me close to seven hundred to title four bikes. Used to be a piece of paper with the vin and year and make but not anymore at least for me. I asked what would happen if I didnt have a title because I bought the bike before titles were needed. I ended up having to apply for one plus a forrestry sticker for each one.

I just called Croom and they said I had to either have the title or a notarized bill of sale from the guy I bought the bike from. Patrick

Just write your VIN on paper and go to the window.Dont say anything and give them your money, you shouldnt have a problem. I bought four stickers this year that way for bike 2006 and newer and thay didnt ask for anything..Andy
