I picked this up here on ATVFlorida.com about 3 weeks ago. Not bad for $5,500 !!!  1999 30' trail lite ....I have already been to DP (10 hour drive) Hardly knew it was there !! |

looks nice dude. did you get gauges when you got the dp tuner? if not, i would really recommend it. after pulling to maryland this past weekend, I had to drive by the gauges when I got into the hills, i was hitting 1150 degrees F on my EGT's, and 200 degrees F on my Tranny Temp (when I was stuck in stop and go traffic in baltimore).

good idea, i didn't think i needed them, until i had them and actually seen what my temps were. makes you drive by the gauges instead of by the go pedal. enjoy. |

i took my truck to Lakeland drag strip Thrus. night and had a good time . My best run was 10.062 @ 71.46 mph 60ft was 2.334 ......better than i thought it would be . Out ran some sport cars and a couple other trucks ......fun times !

Do you have the bigger turbo housing? I can't turn up my dp tuner and hold it to the floor, because i get turbo surge when it shifts. I have to hold the boost gauge at about 20 psi, and it will roll out. Those are some good times.

Not sure if its the bigger housing or not ....I'm not really sure what has been done to the truck at all ...I know the previous owner had a chip on it , maybe even exhaust and all ....i had to tighten the stock exhaust up and fix a leak .....so maybe they changed it back to stock when it was traded in ...not sure . I turn the tuner up to 120hp and it runs like a scalded dog ...no trouble at all ......it smokes the tires in 2 wheel drive ...that time was ran in 4 wheel drive (4 high)....i need someone to look at it that knows what they are looking at and tell me what ..."if anything" it has done to it . Its fast just for having the chip .It idles high i think and the motor is louder than my buddies 99 7.3

My friend with the 99 is telling me he is getting the turbo surge also ....with the DP tuner turned up ....mine seems to be fine ...i'm not getting the ses light either ......I out ran another f250 today 7.3 with exhaust 4", cold air intake,tuner , we was right beside each other about 40 mph and punched it ...i pulled away 2-3 trucks and let out ...was going about 75 mph....it smokesssssssssss until i let off .....the guy couldn't believe i just had a tuner hmmmmm
