About a mile from my step dads shop is this pit called bolton pits.
I used to ride there every weekend and today i saw a bunch of people headin out so i figured id ride over there.

me and my step dad got there and no one was there but we figured what the heck were here lets ride.
I swear to god we were there for 3 minutes and some old guy pulls up on the front road screaming at us.
he told us it was "closed" and hes calling the sheriff we told him sorry and we'd leave but then he said " you guys are the people that ruin our world" or some stuff like that.
and it made my step dad mad so of course he starts yelling at this old man.
I just couldnt believe that he had nothing better to do then yell at people for trying to have fun?
i didnt even put my four wheeler in gear lol.
and this place is like 50-60 acres and its a local spot..

It just really upset me that people look down on us and our sport.

 If he ( the old guy) owns the property, Then I see why he was yelling. If you didnt have permision from the owner ( if not the old guy) , then you really shouldnt be too upset about.

Well, My point I was trying to make is that, The "old guy" could be a " care taker" of the actual owners land now ( with out anoyones knowing it) due to too many peaple riding there or whatever reason.
 Point being that , IF you know or have met the land owner and had gotten WRITTEN permission , you could have shown the old guy that, and told him to go count mufflers @ the wal mart parking lot.
 But riding with out written permission from a land owner is only contributing to the ever going problem of losing places to ride.

 Example; I know a spot thats cool to ride, I tell you about it and bring you the next time I go. Then you tell someone else and take them. they tell someone else and so on , Thats the bad part of the whole thing here. GET WRITTEN PERMISSION.
 Most of the time if you ask politely, and present yourself as a good citizen ( not someone from the "hood gansta" ) you will get a good response.

As much as I agree with you on that, sometimes old people just like to be a pain in the ass.  They have nothing better to do.  I have countless numbers of old neighbors down the street that absolutely hate me.  Some I never even met One neighbor absolutely despises me. My grandmother lives across the street, a few houses down and shes his neighbor.  I was finishing cutting her lawn this past weekend and it was about 7:30PM, just getting dark.  Next thing you know he comes out yelling at me saying how its wrong im mowing so late.  I'm like WTF.  He says how he is trying to sleep and yada yada, even though his lights are all on in his house, TVs on, etc... Weird way to sleep if you ask me.

I am NOT saying you were in the wrong by NO means......I live in an area that is FULL of retiries, So TRUST me I know they can be a pain in the arse for NO reason.

 I am surprised though, That whenever I fired up the drag banshee to make a few passes, They were all like  " thats bad azz " do it again. My bike was LOUD as heck too!!!

LOL my neighbors are worse.  One day my friend came over with his new r/c car, and I had mine.  We were racing them around for maybe 5minutes.  We were bored so we took the silencer off mine so it was just exiting out of the header, and it was loud as hell.  One neighbor came out and said he was going to call the cops because I needed a license to operate one.
