I just wanted to come on here and say what I tell everyone at the work place -CYCLE GEAR- and everywhere else, what a great bunch of people I get to meet and race with every other weekend. Not only race with I have found out, ALL the ATV community it seems is so family oriented it's unreal.

I have raced big cars (Sprints/Late Models/Modifieds/Street Stocks) with organizations like the World of Outlaws/AllStar Circut of Champions/HavaTampa LM and tracks from Tampa to Indiana to Texas and have NEVER came across a more genuine group of people like I have that ride or race a quad... I know and am sure that there are assholes that ride...guess I haven't had the privilege to meet them in the last year of riding....(really hope I'm totally wrong on that one)!!

Just to give you an example...At Mayakka City last race my wife race's a ute and was leading her class when she dumped it in the creek bed and was under water for a brief moment...She thinks it was Jennifer Albright that stopped and got off her quad to make sure she was ok, then others showed up and it took 2 quads and about 10 people to get her quad out of the creek bottom...afterwards they check all the fluid levels and calmed her down and told her to get back in the saddle and ride.(which she did).

another incident was when she was coming out of one of the creek passes, got hung up and a fellow racer got off of his and said his wife got hung up her and someone stopped to help her so he was returning the favor....

I could go on and on but I think you all see the picture...we all are out there to enjoy this very short life while we are here on this earth and for aleast a couple of days we can forget about all our troubles and enjoy OUR LIFE!!!!!.....life is way to short so if you can't enjoy every minute of it at least take time every other week and  enjoy a few hours of it.

Again thanks all of YOU for your kindness and help and I relish the opportunity when I can return the favor.... Clapper Clapper Clapper Clapper Toast Toast Wave :wWayne Davis (Southern Outlaw)

That's what it's all about!

I never pass by someone stopped on the track without making sure they are OK.

Life's to short, wear a helmet.
Dress for the crash, not for the ride.

neither do I...and if there stuck, and I have the energy, I get off and help.

outlaw, I saw your wife's ute in the creek...i stopped and she said she was o.k..  I'm glad to know I'm not the only one stopping...it says a lot about the community...

 Me too.
Wayne, I wish things like this made it to the news media. I am in pest control and tell everyone I know about FTR and what we do for fun. My customers always want to know if I have any pictures or how the race went.
I have been in the horse business and horseshow circuit and same thing, this is the best group of people. There are a few ding-dongs, but even they are good people.
You and your family are good people too.
