what should i use as bait. I'm up north and this lake is suppose to be one of the best stocked here

That works but I have found when you go in the bait store, look at the artificial bait. What ever is low on stock is what is catching fish. When you bring that up to the counter ask the guy what else they are biting on, sometimes those guys are tough to get good info from. If you look like you know what you are doing the usually come up with the info easier.

I typically use the Zoom Super Fluke. Its a great soft plastic bait.

If your going for any type of fish though shiners wiill work, but specific species is a bit hard.

Talk to Uncle Rico. He has a fishing lure that works on all species of fish, no matter what the weather or time of year. You don't even need a fishing pole, all you need is a lighter.

Bass Pro shops feeds goldfish to the fish in their aquariums, so I dont see how that is illegal.
