*Strawberry Meth* Important for kids and parents to read

THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE THIS, AT ANY COST TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN. BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY...READ BELOW AND TALK TO YOUR KIDS. New form of Crystal Meth that targets Children: STRAWBERRY METH.
 

I received emails from emergency responder organizations to be on the lookout for a new form of Crystallized Meth, that is targeted at children and to be aware of this new form if called to an emergency involving a child that may have symptoms of drug induction or overdose.
 
They are calling this new form of meth "Strawberry Quick" and it looks like the "Pop Rocks" candy that sizzle in your mouth.  In its current form, it is dark pink in color and has a strawberry scent to it.
 
Please advise your children and their friends and other students not to accept candy from strangers as this is obviously an attempt to seduce children into drug use.  They also need to be cautious in accepting candy from even friends that may have received it from someone else, thinking it is just candy.
 
I don't want this email to scare anyone, but as a Parent first, Law Enforcement Officer, Coach, Volunteer Firefighter, and friend, I thought it would be best to share this with you, so you can once again talk to your children about the effects of drugs and how easy it could be to take drugs without knowing it, until it is too late.
 
I worry, just as each of you do about kids and drugs and all the problems our kids today are faced with.  So please talk with your children about this newest threat to get children addicted to drugs!

I had never heard of this until now. THANKS for sharing this post.

Not only do you have to worry about so much already, now you have to be afraid your child at school might get crtystal meth from another kid who thinks its candy! That is just so SCARY!

thanks for the post I immediatlly called my 9yr old girl and showed it to her thanks again I have made it clear to her that she is not to take anything from strangers and have even tested her a few time thank god she has done the right thing but it is important people not only talk but test their kids every once in a while.

Thank you very much, will surely share this with my son.  You know the first thing I thought of is the kids at school, sometime you have no idea what kind of home life they have, or what they may have access to.  I will also tell my son not to eat anything that a class mate may give him too, when in doubt - throw it out..

I know sounds crazy, but nothing with some of these kids now-a-days surprises me anymore.  Not too long ago, within a block of my son's school, someone sold pot to a 10 year old.  Yea that's right, a 10 year old.  The thing is you would never think that could happen in your own backyard, so don't kid yourselves, it is everywhere.  Heck the first thing that went through my mind, what the heck is a 10 year old looking for pot....

Stay safe kids, stay on them moms and dads, we are all they got for their future and ours....
