kick starter broke off, the hub is too short beyond cheap repair, so after it sat in the corner of the garage for about 4-5 months i made a "clutch lockout", bolted the clutch together so its direct drive push start only and it works pretty good, it actually runs faster off road without clutch slippage, but the lowend sucks. heres a video. lol

I like the freeze frame of the you hitting the kicker at night! Maybe have some protection next time so when this happens you'll be OK. every one gets on me and my bros case about wearing a helmet, but when i ride my quad i wear full gear with helmet, chest protector, boots and all, but when I'm going 15 on am moped or just cruising in a golf cart its just unpractical(not that wearing a helmet wouldn't b a good idea) keep in mind the stuff u c in these videos isn't really how it is ridden every day... kinda. |

how many cc's is it? is it 2 speed?
i just got a moped today and its 50cc 2 stroke made by "Tomos" and its a 2 speed. looks almost identical to yours, its a 1998 though

43 is perty fast for a moped, i just got mine clocked at 31 today, faster then its ever been at 23 years old. |
