Don't know...Lots of clearing going on also. Looks like road infastructure. Our days out there may be numbered. Saw a group out there Sunday with a backhoe digging a hole on the end of the mound trail. Stopped to ask what's up but nobody wanted to talk.

they are getting ready for hunting season, making the roads nice so they can get their trucks back there easier.

Well, normally people hunt early daylight and early eve..but out there it seems to be an all day event.  The hunters and some land owners are asking that if you ride out there during hunting season to stay east of the canal.

We were out there for a ride this past Sat night and stopped and talked to the guy that owns the property (10 acres). He spent $1700 on equip rental to fix the roads and get rid of the whoops. He's clearing to redo his bunkhouse that got trashed and burnt down. He'd like to pass the word for people to slow down riding through there or he'll put a gate up or bury logs in the ground to slow you down. He also requested that people take your trash with you when you leave.

Thanks for the info...It would be nice for people to clean up their own mess and not through it in the woods. It is a nice place to ride I would hate to see it closed down because of the people who do trash the place.
