You probably want to go with the BARE gusset kit for a 450r. What year is your bike and will you be doing it yourself?
If you have an '06 you have to make a slight adjustment on the fork towers (notching) to use the BARE kit.

I have to do something My frame is cracking all over. The good news is that nothing is bent or seperating just cracked. How did you destroy your frame after the kit ? was it to rigid ?

Yeah, but you ride like a psychopath. If you can weld, here's some pictures on a do it yourself gusset project. http://www.trx450r.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=18991&hl=gusset

I agree with Dreth. I had my quad 18 months no cracks. I tore it down, installed a Bare gusset kit and had it powder coated, in about 6 or 7 months it was cracked in half on both sides just behind the upper motor mount. unless it's cracked already I would leave it alone.

Walsh.
I second that. I don't know much about BARE kits with the TRX's but another member of this site got a YFZ gusset kit from them and his frame broke completely off at the rear shock. The Walsh kit has gusset for that spot. We use Walsh kits for every quad we fully gusset and have not not had a problem.

It helps knowing thats all you use and never have any problems. THANK'S !!

Bare performance is junk.. the frames are stronger stock than with Bare, they just gusset random spots. Walsh is the way to go

Well good for you ! Yeah let me know how it goes, I'm hearing only posotive feed back about the WALSH kit. I also noticed the $$$$$$ It's probably the most expensive out there but if it's working it's worth it.
