I wasn't criticizing your ability as a Father.I was giving my opinion of how I wouldn't of shown his punishment publicly for all to see.I have kids and I love them too.Don't get so offended...it wasn't meant to be offensive or to make you look harsh.My apologies. You put a post, I merely gave some feedback.I'll never reply to your post again!!
i apologize if i came across too strong. but it pisses me off when all i asked is to do good in school and he doesnt. believe me he is getting off lightly. as you love your children so do i, so you should understand that i would never "publicly ridicule" him. gery

School is alot harder than you may remember. You have to do this work that you hate to do but will benefit you in the future in ways you don't even know yet. Mostly I want to finish so I can get done with it and never have to deal with it again. ...Until college... ;-;

School is not hard. Making a living, paying taxes, mortgages, insurance, etc. That's hard.
Come on man! You can do it! Buckle down and make those grades.
More than once my Dad took away my old ATC 185s to "prod" me into making better grades.

I second what he said about life being harder. However my parents couldn't afford ATC/ATV's to take away. Ask yourself one question. Do you still have everything in your room? I screwed up once and all I had left in my room was my bed and my clothes. (Yes the took the door and everything). Hence the reason I got A's. My parents weren't f.ing around either. I didn't want to know what they'd take if I ever got a C again. Yeah that was just for one C on my report card. No D's or F's. If you think you've got it hard I'm sure my mom would be happy to share some tough love that is effective.
