Sport ride update
«

I rode today to make sure that I new where the heck I was leading everyone. The weather up here is great, much cooler. I rode what is called the pipeline trail today, I parked near the OHV headquarters and rode from there, since that is where we are starting from. To start out, I decided to ride my daughter's little Kawi Bouyou. I strapped a cooler on it and headed in. It took me 2hr and 15 min. to make the pipeline trail on that bike, taking it easy. When I got back to the trailer I geared up and rode my bike and made the same trail in 50min. I would guess with a large group it will take some where between those 2 times for the pipeline trail.
My original intentions were to do the pipeline and the tobacco patch trails in one big loop (approx 50 miles). Now I am thinking about breaking it up. I'm going to wait and see how many show up. To some, 50 miles might be too far.
I need some input. Do I have a hard core group or what?

I'm probly gonna be comin up there for the ride, 50 miles for one ride would be fun as long as its fast paced, is it just going to be that one ride or will there be another ride also, maybe a semi fast ride around that loop at first and after that ride is done do a speed ride around the loop?

Thats what I was thinking, maybe a hour long shakedown, semi fast paced ride and then light em up.
Here are the "rules"
If you cant keep up, let the person behind you pass. The slower riders will eventually move to the rear so that the faster riders will have a better time. We will still wait for everyone before making any turns.
Dont ride "over your head", we dont want anyone getting hurt. We will wait for you, but any injured riders will be "put down" and left inthe woods, JK.
Give yourself enough room to stop. New trees fall down almost every time I ride. If I hit the brakes, dont slam into me. It will probably be dusty, dont ride blind.
Dont try to ride with me without a helmet and goggles on. Stupid hurts.
I dont know exactly how this is all going to work as far as organizing Sat. morning. I was just asked by Grizzly bear to lead this ride. I will be in a grey F-350 with a white enclosed trailer. Come by and introduce yourself (not that I can remember names for more than 2 min.). I was thinking of wearing a white T shirt and using a majic marker to write my screen name on, to help with the name thing.

He who Chills the most,
I like the idea of a semi fast warm up ride to get familiar with the course. Just to let you know I will be riding a dirt bike, hopefully this won't cause any problems.

Dont know why it would cause a problem, unless you forget to put your foot down when we stop.

BTW, Chillin normally wears a baby doll shirt, no pants or underwear and chaps when he rides. I just thought everyone should no in advance so there's no shocked looks.
Matt - You better clean those chaps before you bring them back to me this time.
Giddy Up!

I still have the training wheels on my bike so I am not concerned about that. I was more concerned that some of the trails we are gonna ride are ATV only.
