Yesterday when we went out riding down the sugar sand road near here we came upon a treat, a semi was stuck on the side of the road.
It was so wierd, cause this thing didn't even look stuck still the tires started spinning. At first we tried with the arctic cat with no luck, dug in a foot deep rut with the 4wd though. Eventually a truck came by which pulled it out without too much difficulty. So, after about half an hour getting this guys semi out we're out on the trail again. We had our cousin with us who we let try and drive the Arctic Cat, ofcourse in the course of the whoops she drove it straight off the side and into a little river next to the whoops. 4 wheel drive & locked, but didn't budge. We even hooked up the Arctic Cat to 2 other ATVs and it just wouldn't budge. When we gave up on that we found a 4x4 truck that pulled us out nice and easy, and that was pretty much all the fun we got yesterday, besides for meeting a couple guys on bombardier 800s, and helping this guy in a gator get out of the mud. Turned out to be a pretty fun weekend overall! ^__^ I wish we could go to mudfest but the ram 1500s tranny is overheating lately when we try to tow the Arctic Cat and we don't want the tranny breaking down. So, looks like we'll be waiting till march to go camping with an RV to tow the ATVs.
