Dear Homeowner

Just a little note to let you know we understand your anger during the recent hurricane season and our most recent rate increase. But it should be noted that you clearly have no choice. We are a big company and you will wait for power and pay what we tell you. You have no choice. We have the power, you need the power. So sad, too bad. Sucks to be you. We have enclosed a little picture to help outline our response.
Good luck in the heat, have a nice day and keep those checks coming, loser!

Sincerely, The Employees of Florida Power and Light

listen i would really like to express how i feel about f.p.l  keeping me in the dark for 2 weeks and giving it to me.(and i aint talking about the power)  but i cant on this website.  believe me it would warrant a permanent ban from this site.

It's funny how there are mixed opinions about FPL.  Basically if your power was turned back on quickly you love them and don't care about a rate increase.  If it took them until today to get it back I can understand your frustration and dislike for them.  What I always seem to notice about FPL is power seems to be restored to the richer neighborhoods first.  Everyone west of I-75 in broward got there power back first and FPL moved east from that point on.  The people around 441 are just now getting there power turned on.

i agree. yeah yeah i know the newer neighborhoods have their wires underground hence less damage warranting faster restoration of power.

let see hmm..........

to the north of us we have country club of miami,
to the south, royal oaks and miami lakes.
(all three "richer" communities, al three having power restored way before us.)

i mean hello, who cares about the TPT(trailer park trash) known as PSN where the homes date back to the 60's.

fpl basicly works from the south up, at least in dade county. so us being the northernmost point always seem to get our power back last.

i have felt your pain we were out of power for 13 days but luckly we had a generator , on the other hand i feel that they have pocketed enough money over the years and they do not need the increase in money, it is just another way for someone else to make more off of us who are already struggling enough!
