Could you make a trike or a quad street legal in FLA?
I am building a sand rail that I intend on going legal with (maybe...depends on insurance and whatnot), and figured if you  threw a horn and some turn signals on, it could be legal...as a motorcycle.  I was just wondering if anyone knew.
Thanks

Buggies can be street legal but not quads. A motorcycle trike is also legal, but not a 3wheeler.

You can do a 3 wheeler but not a 4 wheeler. I isn't legal to ride a 4 wheeled vehicle, that you have to straddle the seat, on a public road.

Dreth, was it a 3 or 4 wheeler you tried to license.  The law says 3 wheels are okay, but you have to have turn signals, front/rear brakes, mirrors and some other crap.  That'd be an awesome way to get to local ride spots...but it'd be hell on tires.
