I got a reply back from Fishers ATV World. After reading I was thinking how we can help this TV Show happen. Exposure is what we need and let me explain why: They do a show on Florida, then local people will be interested and purchase a bike(s). Tourist would see Florida a new place to ride and that would generate revenue that will help open and keep open riding areas for years to come. Now we need to put pressure on whoever is blocking the permits and giving them the run around. Mass emails? Sign a Petition? Maybe Jack Terrel can help.

Here is the reply I got:

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you.  Actually we've
been in contact with Florida about getting permits to come down
there to do a show and got nothing but a big run around.  We were
going to come to Ocala to cover that area this Spring.  I'll pass
this along to our scheduling department to see where we're at with
this.  By the way, Thanks for watching the show!   Remember,
don't sit back and wait for things to happen...You need to make
things happen!  Build a strong force of people and let them hear
you!  It's all about numbers!  Take care and we may just get
down there sometime in the near future!

Hey, I spoke with her awhile back about doing the show down here. She saw the site and thought Ocala would be a great place for the show. Liv2Ride was checking out a local shop in the area for the use of ATVs for the shoot. I wasn't sure what happened to the whole idea, but I see there were some problems with permits. That's too bad! It would've been great. Maybe it can happen in the future.

Next time you have a PGA in the area just load up all your ATV's on the trailers or in the bed of your pick up and go congest all the roads leading up to the show with your pickett signs and you will be on TV. Get a large group togather of about 500 people and someone will "here me now?".... Wink

I understand what you are saying, but realistically with people's work schedules and such this may never happen. I'll see if I can find out what permits Melissa needs. Then we can pressure those who hold the permits so we can get their show down here.  Smiley

If you haven't done so already, log into your Direct TV account and request ATVFisher World.
