Hey, Can you help a pet? Adopt a pet at www.petfinder.com. Also I encourage you to donate to all animal organizations except PETA.

i had to put my sheperd to sleep due to his age and i took my daughter to the shelter to pick a pet to alleviate the hurt. well she picked the funkiest looking dog.he looks like santas helper from scrooge. i told her why such a mangie looking mut and she said she picked the ugliest one cause she figured he was the one that needed love the most. only a mind of an 8 year old. funny now i understand.
(god i miss my dog, putting him down was by far the hardest thing i have ever done)

Dont judge a dog by its apperance. An ugly dog could be the best one in the shelter. How do you like your new dog?

be nice to him Yeah, I have no choice, he is my daughters. The lil rat, he is a mission. Digs holes and then my rotti (the dummy) follows him and does everything he does. The never ending story.........

The little was not the problem for me, well it was but the thing is the big dummy follows him and that is where the problems start. For big dawgs it's $150.00. CRAZZZZYYY!!!

Have you tried taking your "problem child" to obedience training? It's a good way to create a bond and add the socialization for energy release. Also, make sure they have enough toys and keep them in one area so they know where to go and get a toy. I generally buy two of each and then swap them out every week or so. My dog thinks he gets new toys every week. Keeps him happy and my wallet light.
