jjames, thanks, my Dad is doing much better thank GOD.
It's slow, but you can't expect mirracles for a 74 year old.

my father passed away in 1969 from a heart attack, he was 47. i wish they had by-pass surgery back then, it might have bought him some more time. glad its working out for your dad.

Jeff, I think the parking will be fine. There is quite a bit of room on the south side of the pavement near the "off limits" area. There is also room at the bottom of that road where the trail leads to under the bridge. Also a lot of times there are people parked under that bridge.

Is this hard packed or pavement, is there sugar sand for parking?.....we will have to decide which mode to trailer...open or enclosed, and the dually is heavy so we need a place to park so we won't get bogged in..lol

I would like to join in if there is still room. I have a place in Gainesville so I will go up Friday and then drive down Saturday am. After the ride depending on how tired I am I'll just drive back to Lauderdale or go back to G-ville for the night. Can anyone give a good Mapquest of the meeting place for us new to the riding area and/or meeting place?

there is still room, see the eurika dam group ride I thread. use mapquest to find the city of salt springs. follow hwy 316 west until you see 160th street. the pit is 1/2 mile north of 316 on the west side of the road.
