Military and 3 Wheelers?
«

Hey Ya'll,
An active duty military guy here looking for places in N. Florida that my family can ride... We have a mix of ATV's.... Yes 3 wheelers and 4 wheelers. I see on alot of post where they say No three wheelers.... my question is....what parks, National Forest, etc. allow 3 wheelers?
I think it maybe easier to say who allows the old 3 wheeled dinosaurs vice who doesn't....? If I have read correctly, Ocala National Forest allows them.... are there any others?
Thanks,
Stubbie1111

Stubbie where are you stationed? And what kind of trails do you ride? We have a 3 wheeler that rides with us but we ride really deep stuff sometimes.

Hey guys and gals,
Right now we have a 1985 Tecate, a 1983 ATC 110, and a 1985 ATC 125m. I am currently deployed and won't be home for about a month or so, but I also have a 1985 ATC 250r lined up for pick up with enough parts to make a second bike as soon as I get home. I have almost enough parts to put together a 1986 Tecate as well right now...... so as you can see I am some what a ATC connoisseur
We have had alot of different bikes over the years, but the ATC or three wheeler is near to my heart. We do a little of the mud riding, but mainly trails and road riding as we have kids that ride with us. I do like to rip it up a little bit too though!!!
But we are open to any place that will allow us to play!!! I am stationed in Kings Bay, GA. but I grew up in South Florida.... so I am somewhat fimiliar with the different areas around N. Florida... (i.e. Jacksonville, Gainesville, Tallahasse, Ocala, etc....) Any other information would be great, and we would LOVE to go riding sometime here in the near future!!! Thanks for all the replies!!!

Stubbie, Mud Muckers in Bunnell allows 3 wheelers and Hastings is an open area so you can ride whatever you want to out there.

I see that Hastings is just above Ocala...... but where is the riding spot? Is there an ATV Park there? Is it off of I-95? Is it private land or part of Ocala National Forrest? Are you required ORV stickers? Etc.. etc?

No.
Is it off of I-95?
Its in between 95 and 17.
Is it private land or part of Ocala National Forrest?
Its not part of ONF, I'm sure somebody owns it but I don't know who. You will not have any problems riding there, trust me. I'm active duty NAVY myself.
Are you required ORV stickers? Etc.. etc?
I'm about to post up a big thread filled with pics from Hastings. Our FaceBook page, NE Florida ATV, had a big group ride out there today.
