Here's one for ya.  Most people that are into PWC's will remember about 7 years ago when Mercury Marine was going to enter the pwc market.  Unfortunatly, the program was dumped.  Well, that was the greatest job in the world back then.  I think somebody was just refering to the Sabastain Inlet.  This picture was taken over there right after a front moved through.  That is a one of a kind Mercury Performance Craft.  In the front storage there was a lap-top computer recording handlebar loads and various other loads on the craft.  I was fortunate enough to be a technician of the testing and research and development for Mercury in Boca Grande.  Anytime that there was a front about to come through on the west coast, We were out there running hull load strain testing in sometimes 6' to 10' seas.  And yes, I was wearing a helmet and wet suit.  Wish we would have carried a camera more often, But these for "secret" machines and we would have been fired.
