Are there any digital cameras that are cheap enough where you don't care if they brake on the trail?

Not really. You could get a disposable camera and you can use a scanner or a printer that has a scanner built in to send them to the computer. That's the cheapest way I can think of to get good quality digital pics.

Try Ebay, Best Buy, Comp USA, Circuit City or Amazon for prices.

I got a 3mp using points from my credit card.  Didn't cost anything...well....except for using my credit card which I do anyway.

You can buy disposable digital cameras for around $10-15.  You send off the camera and they ship you the pics on CD.

I use a waterproof disposable camera (Fuji from target $8.95) and on the way home from a ride I drop it off and in one hour they give me prints and a CD for just under 10 bucks. By the way that was CVS. I have found out if you don’t keep your digital super duper sealed water WILL find away in and also sand LOVES media cards. Between the 2 ill spend the money on a disposable.
