So who would be interested in putting up some money to enter a drag race......winners take home money not trophies?

This would be held at Dirty Foot Mud Ranch

It is a 300' sand drag with 400' shut down with an additional 300' if needed to shut down....

This is a feeler to see if there is any interest before purchasing lights and a timing system

sounds like fun.
we may make some ,as long as it's not on our race weekends !
how consistant are they with track prep between runs,do they drag it or roll it,both ?
is it just sand,or a mix of some type.
I had read where they packed it down on someone and they couldnt get any bite with their paddles,is that typical ?
we ran some at the motoplex a few years ago,it was a lot of fun !!
Paul used some kind of rotating attachament on the tractor to level it out and keep it loose and consistant, worked realy well ,but they could have worked the start box a little more often,I seen a bunch of people get hung up instantly from digging too deep and hanging the swingarm on the berm in the middle,  way too funny to watch !!

They have a blade on the tractor and a HUGE Roller/compactor.........they cleaned it up after every round of different quads....or when it was necessary

It is a sand track exactly like what you ran in the past (when your wife sat Tyler down lol )

Traction is a premium unless you have paddles or the 4-snow style tire.  I ran regular rzrs on mine and took third in the modified class....

The hard packed start was a one time deal. That was a joke they played on me. Pro wedge style tires seem to work best followed by paddles and then knobbies.

Saturday October 30th will be the first money race.....

Classes are decided unless there is a large turn out and then they will be split into classes that match the quads more closer, so for now

400cc class -      stock with the exception of pipe, intake/filters, fuel programmers and tires
450cc class -      stock with the exception of pipe, intake/filters, fuel programmers and tires
unlimited class - any engine mods such as pistons, cams, cranks, cylinders, heads etc

Side by Sides
Dirt bikes           (if enough show they will divide into 250cc and 450cc classes)
UTV                    (if enough show they will divide them into separate classes)

$ 5 Registration fee
$10 race fee
(do not forget about the membership for the park, $20 for the weekend)

The $10 race fee will be divided between 1st and 2nd......the actual percentage has yet to be decided.

Youth (9-12, 300cc or less)

$10 to enter for the Pee Wee and Youth age groups (no registration fee). 1st place trophies will be handed out in the Pee Wee and Youth Divisions. In addition, each Pee Wee contestant will also receive a trophy for participating!

I dont know if I can make a race that quick with a new one born yesterday but I will see. I know this is a starter race but I think you will need to come up with a couple more classes. like 450 modified and so on. The built 450s will not run with a tricked out banshee. Just a little input to help you out.
