I called them for a z400 air filter. They dont stock any air filters for the z400 quads of any type according to their parts manager. When I asked why because it is probably the most popular atv sold? He said i was the only one who had ever asked for one.
Is it too much to ask for an atv dealer to stock at least one of every air filter for every machine on the floor........NO its not!!!
In my shop I have several filters for everything I stock.
He told me he doesnt have a parts room big enough for the air filters so they are all special order......BS
IMHO he needs to resign his position as "Parts Manager" because he clearly is just working for the check & not doing his JOB managing parts! HeII they make it easy with computers now to stock top 100 part lists.
Ok I'm done Angry

Ok now go ahead & add Barneys in Brandon to this list. All I can say is this is pizz poor parts management. To help things it will take 7 days to get it Angry

My answer to you is the internet.  EVERY TIME I go to a dealer to get a part that should be a "stock" item they say "we can order it".  My answer is "so can I".  You can order anything you need from a multitude of parts retailers online. Stock parts, aftermarket parts.  And eliminate the dealers all together.

A simple bolt, I wanted to buy at the Honda shop was $6.25....I would of had to prepay it and come back to the shop to pick it up.  I went to Ace Hardware and bought the same bolt for .55.

Servicehonda.com has just about anything stock you need at a discounted rate and it comes right to your door.  (NO I am not affiliated with them).

dont think the z400 is the most popular quad old but if you need a new airfilter i would recomend going aftermarket.
