It depends what sizes you get but the main thing is that they add
additional strength
... a bigger sprocket in the front will give you more top-end and a smaller in the front = more bottom-end in the rear it is opposite the smaller you go the more top-end you will obtain and the bigger you go the more bottom-end you will get...
