well, radio shack has my 102" whip and the radio (one cobra fits my toyota perfect if you take the ash tray out and sits flush and factory looking) i just need a mount really. and, if i can find someone with better wire prices than radio shack. radio shack is expensive for everything.

You don't have a truck stop somewhere nearby, or an ham radio shop there in your area?

I would shop ebay before Rat-Shack...

That is pretty crazy, I can think of at least five places twenty minutes from my house.

Since you are running legal power i would just get a 102" whip, roof mount and spring from ratshack, and use rg-58 coax. It will perform well and be relatively inexpensive if you do the ends and don't buy a premade cable.

Bells...lol, I guess they are better than nothing. Screwdriver is pretty cool, but I like to deal with Ghostrider down in Pompano..

I will have to kick 34 on and throw down with you!
