Just wanted to let everyone know that we've got some great folks on here. I spoke to JackL yesterday while he was in the Keys and asked him to stop by my place on Little Torch to check it out. Not only did he stop by but, he took pictures of the place and e mailed them to me letting me know everything was fine. Thanks Jack! You da man!!!

No one does down in the Keys. You have to bring it upstairs since it can easily see a five foot storm surge of salt water, I'll bet Matt saw higher than I did during Wilma. He sure has a sweet Trophy and deep canal fifteen minutes from some excellent fishing, and a ten minute boat ride from my house.

All us white people have left in this country are each other. The immigrants have taken everything else!

Jack -
It got pretty deep with Wilma. Ruined the washer, dryer and feezer below. Remember Danielle? It took the roof off the place, blew in the sliding glass doors and ruined most of the front (east side) interior including the kitchen. $75,000.00 in damage. Oh, and it took out the fish cleaning table.
How'd you like that cleaning table with the green/red top? Just like an anchor light.
Thanks again.

We saw 4'6" from Wilma, but all it did was jumble everything downstairs which is all weather proof anyway. The AC is 6' up, the previous owner knew what was up. Georges was the last one to inflict massive damage when it up rooted a huge Australian pine to the roof. Yeah, I really liked that table. I can't believe I didn't take a pic of it. I had to run because another big squall was coming..
