hey guys im gonna snorkel my airbox,but the biggest line i can fit is an 1 1/2" line,will this be large enough for my 421 cc yamaha wolverine?or will it lean out for not enough air coming in?

what are you using for a line? I know that many people use a spa hose that you can buy from home depot or lowes or some home improvment store. If you do any kind of snorkle i think you need to rejet the carb any way as your changing the air flow coming into the carb, if you just leave it where it is jetting wise as is you will reduce the air coming in but you would leave it dumping at the fuel in  it and it will run like crap

check out highlifter.com and see if any one there can give you any tips on what to do for jetting and if that line is big enough etc. etc.

if you look at the stock snorkel then youll probably notice that 1.5" is plenty. we did 2 recons and their stock snorkels that went under the gas tank were tiny. how big is the inlet to the airbox? id do that size. its not like you can do bigger. it still funnels it down to the size of the hole in the airbox.

it does not matter what line u use when u snorkle u are messing with air flow alot either way u will have to re jet your carb  u may get lucky and be able to put a reducer at the top of pvc pipe and be fine let me no if u need help if u in broward area ill help u get her done just let me no

its done but the line is a bit tight around some places making it bend,thinking of adding a spring inside

its an oval rubber piece,that clamps into the 1 1/2 air lid opening.

you could always cut the hole bigger and use bigger piping, thats what I would do.
