In my opinion one main reason for people coming into this county is because there are to many crooked buisness and farm owners who are willing to hire illegals to help make their pockets fatter.  Its a possibility.

That's a good point. Cheap labor and little chance of getting caught.

The one thing i did not hear from anyone who posted on this is how many of you actually put on a uniform for this country I HAVE!!  How many know what it is like to get a phone call that 7 of your people are not coming home I HAVE!! How many have been gassed on and shot at training for the defense of this country? I HAVE!! How many of you are actually from NYC and had there own brother run like the dickens and see first hand what happened that dredfull day? I HAVE !!   NOBODY here probably knows how good you all have it in this country compared to other places. I agree that this country has a population problem with illegals I agree with that. I agree that there are things in Washington that need to be fixed. But take a look at your self in mirror and tell that right now your life is perfect and there is nothing to be fixed iin your own life then you can complain about everything else. At least you all know what its like to sleep in your own bed with a roof over your head and food in your stomach. If I pissed anybody off oh well but for the ones that have been there and know what I am talking about will agree.
So when somebody cuts you off or the person in front of you is driving slow and your kids does something to frustrate or when you have a bad day at work or your atv is tuned to perfection just take a deep breath and realize you really dont have it all that bad.
GOOD POINT, AND I AGREE I THOUGHT IT WOULD MAKE MORE PEOPLE THINK..............GUESS NOT............... Undecided

This is obviously a touchy one so I'll try not to get too deep into it. I too have served in the military, and as such have witnessed first hand the conditions that alot of these people live in. How many of you have ever been to a " third world" country? I've seen families put their teenage daughter on the street to make money for the evening meals. There's a river in the Phillippines called SH*T River, you can throw pesos (change from your pocket) from the bridge and watch the little boys jump in this river knowing full well what the "water" really was. These are just 2 example of how desperate things are in some countries, it's no wonder why they would want to sneak into ours. And for the guy who thinks that hte mexicans are being exploited by the farmers, your right. But do you know any Americans that are going to the fields today? If it wern't for the cheap labor they provide most people would go hungry or be forced into the fields like the north koreans that just got called upon to mobilize to the rice fields. Bottom line is that most Americans don't know how lucky they are because they're spoiled.

That Americans are spoiled is a huge understatement. We are also very selfish. We are willing to give millions and Billions to other countries to make us look or feel good while our own go homwless and hungry. However none of this makes it right to allow illegal immigration go on. Farmers are willing to take the risk to keep their costs down and their profits up. We need to stop this. I have never been to another country, but I have served ours here at home. I think it sucks that anyone lives in such a destitute situation, but we don't have to try and save the world when we can't save our own. When we can take care of our we should devote all possible resources to helping others. Allowing everyone in to mooch off of our system only brings us down. It elevates them to a little more livable level of poverty, but doesn't cure the world. We still need to close our borders. Overwhelming our system and overextending our financial abilities only brings more problems.
