just recently got a gps ,had it at onf last weekend , i noticed when i was near the power lines it was giving me some strange readings. just wondering if it was the power lines or if it was me ,because i'm still learning how to use the damn thing

when getting strange readings check your conectivity basically how many satelites you are picking up. and less than four and you cannt not get true  longitude and lattitude.
