we used to run dual batteries on our trucks that had winches and you would use a isolator . both batteries would charge but only one would be dedicated for the winch. has anyone seen this or tried it on a atv?

Maybe on a 4x4, but I wouldnt do it on a sport bike, Couldnt you just get a better stator to work with all those volts?

Well, I guess if you keep getting stuck... Wink  Na, it would probably work. Just would have to hook up the cables accordingly.

my buddy is thinkin about puttin another battery on his forman, what he did was he bolted dry boxes to his back racks and was thinkin about puttin another battery for his lights that hes thinkin to put on. He need a bigger battery to run these lights because both of the m are for a truck and they are both 8".

you could do it but you would need a bigger stator to recharge the batteries. the factory one would last for a little but but would eventually conk out. you'll see.
